Working Together to Make a Difference We, all people, need to talk, communicate and learn from each other in order to make this world, our world a better place. To open up and soften the hearts and minds of those who are so negative about so much. Take a lesson from that song - "The Sounds of Silence." I've done all kinds of volunteer work, i.e.: at hospitals, public and private schools, working with physically and mentally handicapped and incapacitated children, some who've been abused and have had a terrible life. Beautiful kids living in awful situations. Who feel unloved, unwaned and useless. I worked and played with them and listened to them. I also worked for the YMCA and most recently for the NAIA (Native American Indian Association). I set up their library. They had a lot of books that were in boxes and unorganized. I got them all catalogued and shelved in order, installed a genealogy program into their computer. Having finished that I'm looking for my next project and hope to find something that I will love as much as I did the NAIA.
