giving more than you know I believe that if you give a little of your effort to the common good, and if everyone who could, did this, there has to be something to show for it at the community level. If one person with a specialty puts some of his or her talent into something that benefits the community, it will stand out. The community in which I live has a reputation for the amount of effort people put into contributing to what happens there. There are even awards to individuals for their efforts, and other recognitions. It feels great to be able to go in and do something, to make a part of a day available to just be of service for whatever needs to be done to prepare for, or help out at, or clean up after, something.
